How legal is this or what should I do?

After working for my employer for 4.5 months I was concerned my thanksgiving week check was short 8 hours talked to the production manager and he said yeah managers got an email last week saying new employees need to work 180 days to get paid holidays. I was told when hired it was 90 days and have a employee handbook stating 90 days HR is telling me it was updated since then but they don’t even hand out handbooks so she doesn’t know how I could have been told that and will not be getting paid for the holidays since I have not been there 180 per the new policy they just “reminded” managers of last week and no employee was aware of. What do you guys recommend I do?
