I'm genuinely curious how long people can tollerare working in retail for.
I've met people who managed to work in customer facing role for decades and I just can't wrap my head around that idea, I mean the amount of abuse I've had to endure only after a year of working on and off in retail has absolutely destroyed my mental health and I'm only about 6 months in my new job.
Was it different years ago? Did the abuse become more common or something because I'm seeing people who put years of their lives in retail leaving in drones and I'm not too sure I can even make it to the new year because of the amount of abuse I have to endure from customers .
I'm literally a ticking time bomb at this point.
So yeah, how long did you last in a job like that before you couldn't take it anymore?
