A store at the mall hired me for a part time associate position. I had my interview two weeks ago and was offered the position 8 days ago and that’s when I filled out the paperwork online for my background check. I called the store yesterday (Wednesday) asking for an update and my manager said my check was at 60% complete on Monday. I still have not heard back. Most jobs I’ve had, my check was done within a couple days. I have no criminal history, never been pulled over. Anyone have any idea what’s taking so long?
