How long should I wait for a raise before leaving?

I started working as a financial analyst for a company in March of last year. I’ve consistently taken on more responsibility trying to improve my skills in the role + taking on more clients than anyone in my department and they keep telling me I need to take on more responsibility before they promote me. I’ve had a lot of 50 hour weeks (which was not mentioned in the agreement) as well as working some Sundays, so this job does not respect work life balance in the slightest. My boss is honestly super intense, even when I do things correctly he’ll still find a way to shit on me and I’m starting to feel extremely burnt out and taken advantage of. Should I wait until my 1 year mark to see if they give me a raise or get out?
