How many hours per day does a 4-day work week REALLY have?

Disclaimer: I don't know if this is the right subreddit to ask this, but I'm all on board with better working conditions and well-being, so here I am I guess. I just wanted to ask your opinion on what would be the ideal working hours per day for a 4-day work week. I tried to search online but got very mixed results. Some sources claim that the 40-hour work of a 5-day work week should be converted into 4 * 10 hour shifts in four days. Others claim a total of 28 hours (7 hours per day). Also there are some sources which claim a shift between 32-36 hours (8-9 hours per day) is ideal. Therefore, I am confused. What do you think should be the length of a shift per day for a 4-day work week for both your mental well-being and efficiency/not hating to work? Thanks!
