How many of these out-of-pocket charges should fall on me at a new job?

I am starting a new job as a lead preschool teacher next week, in Minnesota. Today I went in for some paperwork (unpaid) and she said I will be paid at a lower rate my first week since I won't be in the classroom. She claimed to not know what that rate would be, however. There is a bunch of onboarding paperwork and the reading of the employee handbook that I am supposed to do before starting- unpaid. My first aid and CPR have expired, so I also have to take those classes. When I asked about that, she said they reimburse for the class OR they pay me hourly if the class is free. She sent me a link for a class, and its $130, with online and in person portions. Which looks to be a total of 4 hours to complete.

Should I be the one to pay for all of this / not get paid for my time?
