My background is, that I started at a small software development company in something called 'dual study' (“Duales Studium” in Germany) were you can study at the university while working at the company two days a week and during term breaks.
This is generally a win for both because you can make some (around 1000€ a month) while gaining experience and they have someone with a degree who knows their tech stack and.
The company I work for has done some extra, paying my semester fees, including train ticket, certificate fees I could do at the university etc. which I know from others, is not the norm for this kind of employment.
However, I always been rather class's aware, threating this whole thing as my future job and not more. So since I'll probably have my degree in february they want to talk to me about my future in the company.
And out of nothing I'm super nervous. I'd really like to stay there, the work atmosphere is not very hustly I've been threated pretty good. I even could take half a year parental leave, as a man, without questions asked.
On the other hand I fear they could pressure me into accepting less pay because of that or expect I will not look for other options that might pay better (which I have just in case). And I'm not the person thats super self-confident, I consider myself to be easily pressured.
I know it is not the usual case, especially in this sub, bit any tips on how approach this talk?
