How should one approach salary transparency when they are the only person with their specific role?

Salary transparency isn’t practiced at this company. However, there is transparency of revenue, company performance, and employees all earn a bonus when we hit certain revenue goals. Merit increases are awarded each year individually based on performance reviews. It’s still a small-ish company, and everyone in my department are in unique roles, so there isn’t an apples-apples comparison. Would you still discuss salaries?
