My fiancé’s job just went remote 2 days a week which is amazing. However, the issue is he drives me to work everyday. I do not have a license and we work about 45 minutes away from home. I don’t want to take this awesome opportunity away from him so basically I’m ready to risk it all. My job is VERY anti WFH due to CEOs stance. Of course many VPs, directors, etc have an exception and work from all over the country. But us grunt workers have to come in everyday.
How should I approach my boss when asking to go hybrid? I’m not good at confrontation so I’m unsure how to go about this.
