I’m reaching out to a bunch of different interior design firms looking for internships, because I need one to graduate. I really don’t want to take an unpaid internship, but I’m essentially asking these places to create a position for me, so they’re probably not going to be very motivated to pay me. Any ideas as to how I could politely assert that I expect to paid?
