I make $18 an hour as a cafe and catering manager. I've worked with this company since 2018, and in 2022 I got my promotion from cafe server to manager. Before my promotion I made $14 as a server, and $18 during catering events.
Over the past year I realized when I'm working catering events my staffs catering wage changes to $18, so I'm technically making the same as them even though I'm in a new management role, scheduling them for the night, overseeing and delegating. My annual review just happened and they gave me 50 cents. I just don't feel like this is fair. I work full time, sometimes overtime hourly and I want to write to our chief financial officer, but I just don't know how to word it properly and need some guidance
