I’ve been happily working at home since march 2019 because of covid, but now my job thinks it would be beneficial to come in once a week.
I think is BS because the more senior staff on my team (who came up with this idea) don’t have to come in but we do. My main problem with this is the horrible 1hr train commute there & back, not including the 30min bus ride from the train station to my house and the cost.
In the before times I lived a 20min bus from the office so it wasn’t an issue but during the pandemic I moved back home to save money.
What’s a good excuse not to have to go in? I don’t have a disability but any excuses are welcome I’m currently looking for a home based job in the meantime.
