I have an offer for one of the companies where I’ve been interviewing (A), but there’s another (B) that seemed quite impressed with my interview with their whole management/ownership team (for parts of it they were literally telling me why they were better than company A, which is in a different industry). Both are stable, well-established companies.
I would rather work for company B, but I’m not sure how to tell them “hey I need to know if y’all are making an offer because I have one from company A and need to decide whether or not to accept it.”
I don’t want to seem impatient with them, but I also don’t want to waste an opportunity to work for a company that would look good on my résumé. (Unless company A offers me total garbage pay which is a concern I have looking at them).
