like the title says, im trying to find higher paying work. i currently earn $15/hr with guaranteed 40hrs a week. overtime isn't common, but is encouraged when available (ie someone calls out). i have 4yrs customer service experience, and currently work in a remote call center. i love working from home because this is allowing me to also study for my bachelors degree in video game art and development. i have an associates in psychology, too. i'm doing my best to update my resume and keep checking job boards for higher paying jobs, but it seems impossible to find. any advice? i'd love to start a business or do freelance work, but it seems so unstable that im hesitant to make the jump.
