My new manager, with the full support of the company, has recently been firing, suspending, or writing up anybody and everybody for the most bullshit reasons imaginable, and in general cultivating an extraordinarily hostile environment. I will be quitting sometime, but this won’t matter to them as I’m just a server that works currently 1 shift a week. I’ve worked here for 5 years part time (i’m also a student) and watched the company (Stella’s in Winnipeg Manitoba if you know it) gradually go downhill. They don’t do stuff that’s actually illegal generally, just very nasty, and my coworkers agree. I don’t know if unionizing is realistic because so many veteran people have quit or been fired over the last few months.
Please, I want suggestions on the best ways to make the manager and company fail or at least be inconvenienced (without any legal issues on my part).
