I'm trying to quit like today, due to accepting another postion at another company, but I am struggling to put things into words nicely. The company I work for is really great and the people are very nice, so there isn't any bad blood. I've done the ghosting method before, I've done a note thing before but those were with companies I really didn't care for. I'm quitting due to really bad hours, I'm a cleaning lady and also a full time college student my shift doesn't start till 5pm, but I only work for 2 hours. It's not great money, and I'm not the biggest fan of working that late in a not so great area. Anyone have some go to quitting phrases that aren't ” please go fuck yourself sideways with a chain saw ”
I know the “correct way” of quitting is putting in your two weeks, but I'm a firm believer in if they can fire you without a 2 week notice then I should be able to quit without the 2 week notice.
