How to tell your bosses to f*ck off with the constant updates/micromanaging in a nice way?

I have 3 main tasks which are a few hours long for each one. Ive already allowed them to micromanage me into messaging them on teams when each task is done. Ive been quiet quitting at the same time doing the bare minimum and doing exactly what i signed up for. Literally its gotten to the point now where in the middle of my task they will say “Hey {name} what are you up to now?” my response is literally : “still working on task number {1 or 2 or 3}, will message when i am done with that task.. If im done with all 3 of my tasks early at 3 or 4 pm. They will say “What are you working on now?” I tell them the other small tasks that i am working on. Its really annoying/ harrasment at this point considering this started a year after working…

Its really annoying/ harrasment at this point considering this started a year after working here. Whats a polite way of me saying stop asking me for constant updates, im already letting you know when i am done with each task. This is micromanaging at its finest
