HR doesn’t care if I end up homeless

I work for a pretty big 3pl company and recently they announced that ALL workers will be forced to work in the office starting in a few weeks. A lot of us work remote and live nowhere near said office (2-3 hour drive each way not including traffic) our pay has been stagnant and they refuse to adjust for cost of living. Like a lot of us out here we’re struggling to even afford to eat every day. I’ve tried to explain to HR that due to both not having the money to travel or care for a car, as well as my poor health that its impossible and down right dangerous for me to be there every day. I’ve been putting out applications for weeks but of course there’s no response from anyone. Either way I’ll end up homeless unless they pay more. I won’t even be able to…

I won’t even be able to live out of my car again like I did before starting this job. I’m sick, hungry, poor, and now facing down a second bout of homelessness. I don’t know if I’ll survive the winter…
