Hi all.
Today at work I got called in for a chat. This turned into not just a chat.
My line manager and his manager who is the general manager asked me questions regarding a few incidents which have occurred recently at work (which I will tell later on)
I'm currently struggling with seasonal winter depression which I get every year but I don't want to tell them this as it's still feels a bit of a taboo for me.
GM asks what my problem is.
I say there isn't a problem and he flies into a rage.
He stands up (all of the proceeding was in an aggressive manner)walks to the door and tucks a chair under the handle, to block the door and I feel to intimidate me. Which worked. Then he walked back and aggressively asked me what my problem is again. I say there isn't one again.
Then he begins to shout at me “you've got an attitude” I asked him polity to stop shouting, which he did. He said if I don't drop the attitude he will put me on a disaplinary. Eventually the ordeal was over he removed the chair and told me to leave the room.
I was very shaken by it as I could see the red mist in his eyes.
The issues where I'd blocked another manager in with my car in the morning.
I didn't have a hi visibility uniform on. On numerous occasions. I didn't have any.
I drove to fast into the business entrance.
Which I believe are very minor infractions and there is no legislation to make us. E.g
Speed limit signs
Hi Vis signs.
No parking signs.
So should I go to HR regarding the “chat” or leave it?
Thank you all.
