Wanting more so of a rant than anything cause well kinda stuck here in the meanwhile.
After 3 stages with this place lots of questions asked on my part. Thought I would be starting an hybrid role sure mostly in office a they hinted but with the possibility to work from home on top. Job description had also sold the hybrid part and how it as a part of their culture and way. I ask again when starting to try get an idea of when it will kick in and basically told 1.not rlly till 6 months. It's a year contract btw

I don't get why I would've been misled like this. Feel almost stupid for not digging deeper especially since my last role had pulled similar fake hybrid shenanigans. But even with that I has more opportunities on the surface to wfh.
Feeling like the pushback post pandemic only remote and full office jobs will be left and the hybrid model is vanishing?
Why? Maybe I'm naive but it really baffles me this obsession to hindering flexible working but to mislead with it is so much worse.
