I haven't posted a lot so sorry if this post looks werid. Just for some context, I work for a small hot tub business. I used to work as a pool guy, but now in college and needed a part time job. I knew the chemicals like the back of my hand so my boss hired me to to the valets (going to peoples houses and checking on their hot tubs chemicals) and general around the shop stuff. I was upfront in the beginning that I don't know much about repairs or anything technical with hot tubs and that was no problem. Since my last job payed me $20/hr I wanted $20/hr, but we settled on $18/hr. With school my work schedule is Monday Wednesday Friday, and these are usually short 6ish hour days, so it doesn't add up to much. Lately with it being winter time she has been closing the store all day and only giving me a heads up 20 minutes before I'm supposed to be there, and even on the days I am there she has closed the store early limiting my hours and limiting my pay. This week I have only worked one day and I received this text this morning just as I was getting ready to head in. My wife and I are super pissed. Her whole business exists in this limbo state of disorder and bad scheduling. She blames this on the fact that only like 3 other people including her work there, but she keeps pulling this shit. I am not sure what to do, because I am not a very confrontational kind of person, but she it.
