I work at a gas station, and recently, my hours got cut to almost nothing. When I asked my manager 'why' they claimed I 'was not completing my job duties' and that 'until they see improvement, I would not be given more hours'. I asked which job duties I hadn't completed (before the one shift they gave me this week) and have yet to get an answer. That was about 4 days ago.
I'm already looking for another job and was basically just using the part-time hours I got from this one (while being classified as a full-time employee, btw) to help pay my bills, so I was already planning on quitting. I would just like to know what email I can send to the district manager to best explain the situation, because I can't pay my bills working so little, and I'm clearly being given no chance to actually improve. [Sidenote: All I've ever gotten in terms of disciplinary action is a verbal warning. So, I genuinely have no idea what I'm doing wrong. A lot of my younger coworkers seem to not like me (for whatever reason) and I haven't been fully trained on all the tasks that can/need to be done. One of my coworkers took money out of the drawer 2 weeks in a row and got a write up, but didn't get their hours cut, now I do seemingly nothing besides being generally disliked and I'm being punished financially? It doesn't seem fair, at all.]
