This might be the wrong sort of area to ask for advice on my future, but I've recently been overwhelmed by my options for work and the stress of having to support myself within the next few years (normal stuff).
Here's where I'm at:
I'm 18 and currently in my first year, second semester of college. I had originally been planning to go towards being a PA, but quite frankly, it's become apparent to me that I am in no way smart enough or dedicated enough to earn that sort of degree. I could go into another medical field, but online learning being the standard for every medical class has been killing my motivation to learn anymore within that field. At this point, I'm not really sure where to go.
I'm currently planning to maybe take some different types of classes, but I'm just gonna finish an associate of science and see where to go from there.
Once again, I'm sure that this issue isn't something foreign to a lot of people, especially as a young adult, but I'm frankly not sure as to where to go after that. I hope to one day marry my current girlfriend and support a family, but it seems to me that whatever I think of either wouldn't pay enough to fulfill any sort of decent lifestyle, or simply seems out of my comfort zone or general ability to learn the subject thereof.
If I were to ask any advice, it's simply what sort of careers would be possible to get into given these circumstances if I were to go for an associates. I don't mind working hard (as long as that shit isn't medical cause f u c k t h a t). Sorry if this is the wrong sub for it, but frankly I thought that this would be the best sub to ask for advice since I feel very disenfranchised with the work system in general.
