I got hired as a manager 3 weeks ago in accounting. They’re having issues with the headsets ( no phones in office) for Teams calls.
Last week boss, cfo, suggests to use Apple Air buds so calls don’t drop. I bring my regular ear buds today, forgot to charge so was on my personal iPhone on conference calls for 3 hours this morning while engaging with one hand maneuvering taking notes.
On the call this evening with my boss: He said he heard i was on my phone all day texting. Wtf! I reminded him we’re having issues with the headsets.
I was surprised it was even brought up. I improvised by using my personal phone & now “more than one person saw me on my phone”
