Hi r/antiwork, I'm developing an open source project called Chitchatter. It's a private and anonymous communication web app that doesn't rely on big tech company servers and doesn't store any communication data. It's completely free and you can get to it at https://chitchatter.im/. It'll work on any device that has a web browser (like the one you're using to read this). Just make a new room, share the link, and you'll be connected!
I built Chitchatter as a tool for people to organize things like unions and privately communicate in a simple and secure way. It supports text, audio/video calls, and screen sharing. If you're concerned about how safe Chitchatter is to use, you can examine all of the source code at https://github.com/jeremyckahn/chitchatter and make the determination for yourself.
I hope you all find Chitchatter useful. Thanks for looking!
