I caught the new hired department manager at my work breaking company policy and I’m on notice for gossiping since I brought it up to a co worker and another manager. I work part time and asked one of the full timers if she thought it was worth bringing to the attention of other managers to which she agreed -and then I received a very angry phone call from the store manager saying I was in trouble for gossiping. The manager received no punishment. If I get fired for this is it considered wrongful termination.
