Attending a party with coworkers who I know don’t like me and don’t want me there except to gossip about me and size me up( they’d do it even more in my absence) while I eat a meal that I had to pay for myself.
I’d rather eat glass.
My supervisor asked me if I was going and I said No!
Seriously I’m tired of having to be cajoled into these stupid events just to make a dollar and it’s still not enough to cover my bills.
I’m excellent at my job but I’ll never advance because I don’t play the game and you know what? I don’t care!
