I don’t think it is fair not disclosing to your employees how much you charge for your services

I worked in a company that outsourced call center services to other companies. It was always the biggest mystery how much the company charged for our services and it was never disclosed not even to senior agents. So we were basically always encouraged to work more, to be more productive, to multitask the life out of us (answering unrelated e-mails while talking on the phone and typing down customer details AT THE SAME TIME), we were always told that the money is tight, but none of the company finances were ever disclosed to us. I believe it should be a workers right to know how much money a company made (off our backs, mind you).
