I’m not sure what to do next and I was wondering if anyone Is versed in contract, I work for a company that is contracted by the government to do supply management services for them and I go hired a couple months ago as the site lead my first management position so I was pretty excited. I’ve been honestly doing my job for about a solid month and a half now, I get called in whose technically not my boss but does have sway in what going on in the office, and tells me that she thinks I’m not the right fit for the position and I feel taken aback by her statement, she tells me that I make too many little mistakes and I understand that, I tell her yes I did when I would forget to put the certain identifying numbers on some paper work, but I’ve been working on that, and brings up that I was late but not really because we came to kinda of an agreement that I would
Come in like 30 mins earlier so I can leave early to get to my classes so yeah I get why she would say that but I was able to make up the hours by coming in early the next day so I don’t see the deal, so basically she wants me to move from my position to one that’s not fast paced but the one I’m in now isn’t we hardly have work to do throughout the day. The thing is as federal employees they can’t tell me what to do especially if I’m not delaying the work of the office, I don’t want to move position and I know they can’t force me to do so.
Would it be a breach in my contract that they’re doing that or something I just need to know so I’m not going shafted
