Antiwork

I fear living a life where I don’t have time to experience living.

What I fear is being burdened into soulless consistency. Work, sleep, and mundane tasks again and again till I am driven into madness. No self expression. No explorations of my consciousness. Humanity has constructed a system that rips apart anyone wanting life fulfillment. The growing financial pressure pushes on us longer working hours. Taking away opportunities to build meaningful connections with others and ourselves. Work has become an essential means for survival, but that survival comes at the cost of putting a suffocating noose around our very being. I am enraged at this ever consuming golden bull that's devouring the fundamental traits of humanity. I fear living a life where I don’t have time to experience living. Where I have become a husk of bone and flesh fighting endlessly for essentials, but never knowing who I am, who those are around, or what we all could be.
