I went on a short term disability claim starting late December. I came back recently. In November of last year when I was electing my benefits I purchased PTO. I was checking all my paycheck deduction and PTO balances and noticed I had no purchased PTO balances. I reach out to HR and they told me I'm not eligible bc I wasn't actively working that last business day of 2022. It just seems pretty messed up to me that I could have my leave any other days of the year but since I was on an approved STD leave Dec 29th I lose out.
