I feel so jealous of homemakers! I know they are a laughing stock in American culture but I wish I can be one !
I come from a conservative background (Pakistani American). And unfortunately I am the first generation of woman who has to work. My mom never had a professional job, my grandma, great grandma, aunts, etc. uhhh I feel so jealous of them. I hate being a corporate slave.
Even though my religion says that men must provide for their wives (or else they will go to hell and have to face an intense punishment), sadly, lots of men demand ambitious wives these days.
