I got a $.50 Raise

I've been working at this place for almost a year now in a position that sat vacant for several months before I got here. Needless to say there has been alot of catch up and alot of work to be done. Since the beginning my manager has told me I've been killing it and that nobody has done this much in the position in years. We both also agree that I'm really doing a 2 person job (at most other companies in my field my responsibilities would be split between 2 positions), and have even talked about getting me help. My review was a few months ago, and though I got great notes I never heard anything about a raise. I had to ask my boss before she spoke with her higher ups aboit it. A few weeks ago my boss told me the paperwork was submitted for me to get a raise; I was hesitant to get excited since no numbers were discusses.

Today I found out that my raise was a whole $.50 an hour. I've done the math and this isn't even a 3% raise for me.
For further context: I work in property management, at the current rent I would BARLEY be able to afford a 1 bedroom on the property I work on. Even with the employee discount.
