I was offered a position as an MIT or Manager in Training at a Medical Spa in a pretty big city. They offered me $55,000 a year plus a percentage of what the clinic makes every year. Store makes 50k I make 5k.
I’m only 20 I’ve literally never worked a salary job before or anything similar and have no idea if this is a decent wage. I tried to do some research online but it seems like it varies based on duties.
My duties are essentially that of a manager but our actual manager is mostly in charge of pushing sales and making sure we make our sales targets. I do everything day to day inventory, ordering stock, covering shifts, monthly target sheets, scheduling, client complaints, assist with hiring, assist with disciplinary action I’m also being told I am to run our clinics social media all while I perform treatments on clients as a technician. I also take over for manager on days she doesn’t work.
Is 55k a year plus the bonus acceptable? Would you do this job for that pay?
