Two weeks ago tomorrow, they let 60 of us go on 90 minutes notice, with some vague promises about “taking care of us,” which to no one's surprise was complete BS. Now some people are wondering where our promised severance (two paychecks) is, and we've gotten word that there withholding it until everybody returns all their company property.
I sent my company laptop back a week ago, and I'm pretty sure this is illegal, but of course none of us have any jobs and I can't afford a lawyer.
I don't have anything else, I just wanted to say fuck them for treating us like shit.
