I got my fiancé written up because I was in the hospital.

Basically, I went to the hospital for preexisting medical reasons, and stayed the night till I was discharged the next day. Gf came to see me after work around 4 am. She works in baggage claim through a private company. She was alone after 2:30 and was getting ready to leave but made sure to call to make sure the last flight was handled and all the baggage was taken care of before she left. The supervisor (not hers) working there was mad because she was the only one there. She told him it didn’t really matter that they could both take care of it and that the next baggage employees would come in at 4, but that she had to leave as soon as they were done because she had a family emergency in the hospital. He took offense to this and said it wasn’t “just whatever”. Proceeded to get my fiancée’s supervisor involved and both of their superiors. Apparently he’s the work snitch and often does shit like this to give his supervisor people to punish.
They wrote her up with a “non-warning” letter to remind her that she could be fired for misconduct, and in the report they said she was trying to get out of work early… she had been there 5 years and is a lead supervisor with good track record but she is getting punished for no good reason. I feel like it’s my fault even though I know it’s not but like wtf? She came to the hospital crying saying she feels like quitting because she “knows” she’s gonna get fired but I reassured her it’s not a fireable offense and they have no grounds to let her go for that.

Just ranting, but Wtf is that snitch guys issue?
