I work for a small company of about 10 people, and so pretty much every department is a one-person department.
Today four of the people got given the title of a leadership position for their department, and I didn't, even though I had already requested it in the past, and put together multiple presentations before even formally applying.
I found out a while ago they weren't going to promote me and would hire someone new instead, but today in the annual meeting, they announce that basically everyone who was on the bottom rung with me is getting moved up, at least in title if not pay, while I stay on the bottom??
I'm done, I feel completely worthless and used.
It's not like I've ever done anything worthwhile with my life anyway, or had any real dreams, personality, or hobbies. O well
