Before I applied for this job I was working as an electrician apprentice where I was working around 55-70 hours a week earning $15/hr , eventually waking up at 4:30AM and coming home around 7-8PM was completely draining of my life force and I accepted that it was not worth my time, effort and I could use more money.
So fast forward to today I receive a message to further talk more about the position and to set a interview date and time, to my surprise it ended up as a phone interview. Towards the end the interviewer asked me “What was your hardest job that you worked and why?” in which I replied in regards about my apprenticeship the extremely long work hours and lack of work life balance.
Funny enough, after I said that the interviewer said that I seem to be a lazy worker and that they're looking for someone more hard working and that I will not be successful candidate for their company. Also keep in mind this application was for a pick packer position at a warehouse, how does this even make sense!!
I guess Ill enjoy my unemployment HAHA
