I hate corporate life but I don’t know how to do anything else.

I have a (decent) job making an OK wage, though I certainly could be making more. I sit at a desk, occasionally go to client events, and WFH the majority of the time. I rarely work more than 40 hours a week and frequently sign off before or right at 5 pm. My boss is a fairly nice person and she likes me, and I mostly get along with my coworkers. But I dread waking up in the morning for work everyday. I just hate the politics, the false sense of urgency for things that don’t matter at all in the grand scheme of things, and feeling like I don’t have much of a purpose. I just don’t know what else I’d do if I didn’t have a corporate job with benefits.
