I hate full-time jobs.

For context, I'm 19F and don't have much I need to pay for. I don't have a car, so I don't have to pay for car insurance. Due to COVID, my health insurance is free (because in my state, if you were 18 or under, your insurance froze during the pandemic. It's still frozen.) I'm single. No kids. I've worked two full-time jobs, and I hate them. I never have time to do anything. Like, what? Am I supposed to eat, bathe, etc for an hour, go to work for the entire rest of the day, and then come home and do dishes and then go to bed? Talk about a boring and meaningless life. I got a new “part-time” job, and I was excited about it. Then I had my first day today and got my schedule. They gave me 40-hour weeks again. I was told I was working…

I got a new “part-time” job, and I was excited about it. Then I had my first day today and got my schedule. They gave me 40-hour weeks again. I was told I was working a maximum of 32 hours. But no, they gave me 40-hour weeks.

I need to make a doctor's appointment. I can't. My doctor's office closes by the time I get off. I can't take off either because I was told that we need to apply for time off a month ahead of time. And I can't go on my next day off because it's on the weekend, and my doctor's office is closed on the weekend.

I already have a second job. I have a job Fridays and Saturdays. I thought it would be fine if I got a part-time job to go with it. Nope. My new schedule only gives me an hour between jobs. Meaning I have an hour to change uniforms, drive to the other place, use the restroom, etc.

I hate full-time hours. How come I hear about people that want more hours, and yet I can't seem to get rid of them?
