I’m finally leaving a job that I once thought of as a career. I’ve been working for this company for a little over two years. I was promoted very quickly and felt very valued majority of my time here. Recently, the CEO sold the company and a very large corporation has taken over. Things were fine at first, but eventually everything changed and now it’s a total shit show.
I finally found and accepted a new job. I’ll be putting in my 2 weeks soon and I couldn’t be happier.
I’ve been thinking about declining the exit interview with my current company though. I don’t have anything nice to say and feel this will burn more bridges than simply just declining. Not sure if this would be a good idea though. Any advice would be helpful.
