I'm stuck working only weekends, making barely enough money to pay my car insurance and for gas and for the occasional snack. I'm stuck working a shitty job as a usher at a movie theater (regal specifically) and honestly while it's chill, the hours are such bullshit. I never have any weekend time and it's killing me constantly. My parents won't let me quit until summer passes since their forcing me to go on a vacation I don't even want to go on (since it'll just stress me out).
Question is; with regal going bankrupt, and a lot of their theaters closing, could I say I was “released of my duties” since I'm a minor, and as a minor we have to have a manager clock us in, we can only do certain jobs, xyz. I like working much more than high school, but what I DONT like is the fact I have literally no free time since I'm in school all week then working a job on the weekends, without any days off at all except holidays from school which is bullshit.
