The reason I hate this mindset is because billions of people work hard every day and either aren't getting payed enough to live, are getting abused at their jobs and many other negative things. So that sort of false hope is damaging because its trying to say you aren't working hard enough that's why you in aren't successful. Well I say fuck that and fuck whoever says it.
