I hate when workers pull out the “increased cost of living” card

Its arguing within the neoliberal framework that workers exist for the company and not the other way around I don't want to live as good as my parents I want to live BETTER. I deserve to have more free time and an easier life. The nature of industry and technological advancement is CUMULATIVE. We have and produce MORE stuff today and more efficiently than ever, therefore we should live BETTER. If majority of people live worse than the economy is broken and should be changed. Not on an individual but on global scale. Every single time we had a major socioeconomic shift it was because the old system betrayed the people. We need to change again because we're in a far deeper crisis than we were when Reagan and Thatcher took power
