I have a confession

So, I have a confession guys. I am in HR. But I'm not like a regular HR, I'm a cool HR. I recently took my proposal to our public oversight board for increasing wages for all employees to a minimum of $15 in rural Nevada. I am also changing policies that require a doctor's note after missing three days because that might mean the difference between someone getting medicine or food on their table and I trust most people will do the right thing. I'm trying to change the role HR has played to be more employee friendly, at least at our facility. Thankfully, I have administration who is supportive of that, while maintaining a firm but fair mindset.
