I work for a big construction company in the Midwest. My previous company got absorbed. I’ve been forced to pull there trailers with my truck, even got in an accident on company time in my truck pulling a trailer for them. That went on my insurance, that didn’t feel right. Some days I’m going to 4 or 5 different places to do my job. I never signed up to drive my vehicle like this. Thankfully they offer gas and mileage compensation. I was just informed yesterday that apparently I’m not supposed to be getting both. I was told by the big boss to go ahead and get both from the start. I’m just worried he’s gonna say he never told me to do that and the company will come after me for money
