I've been battling mental health issues and the stigma around it for a few years now. I've been doing what I can, taking meds and getting professional help, but they all agree that it's time for work to help as well. My managers are all for a 4 day work week, the issue is HR. They decide all work hours and accommodations, I've spoke to them a few times with all the paperwork but they keep denying me saying “it's a non medical request”.
Honestly I would leave but I'm trapped because of my benifits and pay, both are a fair bit higher than the industry average.
