So I was recently laid off from my job. I got laid off on Dec 1 of this year, 2 weeks after the company anniversary where we got told how much we were appreciated.
I'm now in the process of finding a new job but I don't want something like this to happen again. So my question primarily is can any job have a union, specifically customer service. If so how can I start a union at my next job if none is available.
For context I was laid off due to “changing market conditions have created significant headwinds for companies in many sectors of the economy.
