I have an honest question…

Most workers know they’re being exploited. Why are we not doing anything about it at a government level? This is not a bitch. I’m trying to round up the problems to see which the highest up issue is, and what we have to do to get it resolved. I work for an employer that has a union. We still don’t get shit for pay (20/h barely allows me to keep my car and the one bedroom I rent in someone else’s house, and I barely spend any money on food). Yeah we can create unions. But they become corrupt too. Especially when your union includes the people that work in HR, whose job it is to protect the company. Unions are a bandage (and yes one that is needed) but these companies are still going to keep exploiting us until we can change the laws. And we can’t ONLY count…

So aside from unions, where do we need to start and how exactly can we get real shit done at the legal government level in the US?
