Just a Korean dude working in Seoul.
I am sure that I am not the typical man in Gangnam, who thinks work is slavery.
My company has so many issues, and if I have to choose one, the biggest one is that the ceo really does not work hard for his business. Every time I have asked his help or comments on some issues that the compay run into, he was not helpful at all, and expects me to solve them without spending money. (He also refused to buy a office laptop for me due to big expenditure this month…)
My job entails managing offline stores and doing sales. My coworker who is a graphic designers told me about what she has been experienced for over 9 months.
And then, and then, I just realized that work is just a slavery, and this company does not provide anything to its employees, but want to make profit.
Back to the topic, I have been super lazy at work for over 3 weeks now, and I didn't pay attention to what coworkers at the office and store asked me.
Then, tonight my colleague was pissed off and told me off, saying that your attitude will bring unnecessary attentions from the management, do your job right and make it right now, even store staffs have complaints on you, you go to them and apologize to them.
At the first stage, I just listened to them because I do know that I was lazy af and didn't do my jobs well.
Now I feel like she's used it as a way to manipulate me. She never stops complaining about the management and is going to quit this job on next February at the latest.
What do you think about this? Any comments or thoughts are welcome. Should I really improve myself?
